hey friends we have custom mood themes that i stole from 10-15 year old livejournal posts. also i'm gonna work on FAQ if it's possible for me to edit that, i'll find out

the custom mood themes have all been made public for every user. you can find the list of all available mood themes by going to the user console and entering moodtheme_list. understandably, if you don't want to do all that, here's a list of the ones i added, with links to the folders containing all the images (hosted on one of my web servers):

you can pick from this list (plus the ones that came preinstalled with the dreamwidth code base) by going to account settings, journal style, customize your theme, then the display tab, which has a drop-down menu to pick mood themes by name.

if you want a mood theme added to the site that you have the files for, please ask me! i have not made everyone capable of adding mood themes - i might, but for now i'll do it myself. just send the files my way, i'll upload them to my server, and then i'll make the mood theme here. tell me if you want it to be public to every user or just you.

lastly, on the FAQ thing, i want to start filling it out so i can just point newcomer friends to certain pages instead of me doing my dumb explanations, but honestly i'm not sure how to edit that just yet. i'll look into it and update you all on if it's doable for me or not. if i can't update the FAQ i'll just use my personal wiki site for it or something idk.

hey yall quick note i just discovered media embeds like bandcamp and probably youtube won't work. turns out i gotta configure those and i uh did not do that. i will look into doing that soon and if it turns out i can't get it working without API keys or some shit i'll update here
